Cold to the Core

Tonight we went curling at the Granite Curling Club. For a Hamilton, they'll give you about two hours of sliding heaven instruction. The key to an excellent evening curling is to push the stone during the release. Although not technically against the rules, its usually considered to be a lowbrow play. That being said, the stones were not getting to the house without it. Push it. Push it good. Also, there apparently is no smack talking in this game. i.e., the coach didn't seem too thrilled about me yelling "Sweep! Sweep!" to the other team when their stone was already going too fast. It's off to the hot shower for me. After a morning of rain and an evening of ice, call me Coldilocks.
